Why three estimates instead of one?
Because each stage reveals a different type of loss. Gap between quote and technology = pricing errors. Gap between technology and machine = shop floor issues. Without comparison, you don't know where you're losing money.
Do other MES systems have triple costing?
No. This is a unique ProdQ Box feature. Typical monitoring systems only show machine runtime. Enterprise MES may have cost calculation, but they don't compare three levels automatically.
Do I have to enter data manually?
The quote and technological estimates are data you enter anyway. The actual estimate is collected automatically from the machine. The system compares all three and shows discrepancies.
